The Jade Pendant Premiere

Had an amazing time at The Jade Pendant premiere. I went to support my dear friend, international fashion designer and now actress, Sue Wong, in her acting debut at Po Ping. She did a wonderful job as the snooty mother trying to set her wayward son up with the lead in the film Peony (Clara Lee). What a really liked about Sue’s scenes were that it is very similar to the Persian arranged marriage setup, so I really got the gist of how similar our ancient cultures really are. This period piece took place in a during the lynching of […]

Photo shoot with The Artists Project LA

Had an amazing photo shoot with The Artists Project LA (TAP), which was founded by celebrity photographer Michael Bezjian of Gettyimages/Wireimage, who graciously opens his spacious home to any up and coming performer who is in need of headshots. Usually headshots can cost hundreds even upwards of a thousand dollars and need to be updated pretty regularly, so Michael and his team provide a priceless service as a shoot like this is impossible unless one is an A list actor and has his or her bank account, not to mention an A listers rolodex of contacts!   Upon entry to […]

I had a blast at internationally renowned designer Sue Wong’s EPIC fashion show at the Avant Garde Masquerade Ball. This phenomenal event was held at the Majestic downtown, which was an apropos location as it dates back to 1921 as the original LA headquarters of Bank of America, which is an era that Sue’s designs often harken to!  Many of the vintage design features of this location are similar to The Cedars, Sue historic estate. This enchanted evening was the second annual Masquerade Ball for Michelle Long’s Avant Garde Magazine. Her runway included celebrity guest models Eugenia Kuzmina and Ava […]
