Seeking Valentina Los Angeles Premiere

Seeking Valentina premiered at the Los Angeles World International Film Festival at the historic Crest Theatre in Westwood. Afterwards, there was a Q and A with the cast and crew. I had a nice time reminiscing all things Valentina with writer-director-producer Armin Nasseri, actress and producer Kristin West, digital effects expert Tawan Bazemore, composer Skykross and the moderator Syr Law. Big thanks to Armin Nasseri, Kristin West and the rest of my fellow cast members and crew. Also want to extend a big thanks to manager Matt Chassin as well as event photographers Bob Delgadillo, Danny Go and Mark Sevier. […]

Delphi Greek’s 30th Anniversary!

Opa! On October 18, 2015, I had the pleasure of attending Delphi Greek Restaurant’s 30th anniversary. This Westwood-based restaurant was honored with an impressive nine commendations from government officials. There was even a festive blue carpet and ribbon cutting ceremony. Roozbeh Farahanipour is the tireless and kindly owner and operator of Delphi Greek and along with his devoted family, his lovely mom and his talented wife Chef Rana, an award-winning pastry chef, they run a wonderful family business. The ceremony was MC’d by Chairman of the Westwood Community Council Steve Sann and awards were presented to owner and operator Roozbeh […]

Seeking Valentina Cast and Crew Screening

Last night was the cast and crew party for Seeking Valentina, a short film that I was honored to play a nice supporting role in, at Lyfe Kitchen in West Hollywood. What I loved about working on this project is that it bucks stereotypes of Iranian-Americans. This gripping psychological thriller was directed by Armin Nasseri and it revolves around an Iranian-American writer, Benjamin (Ali Bavarian), in the pangs of grief, who takes in a mysterious tenant named Valentina (Kristin West). When she mysteriously disappears, it is for the audience to decide if she a ghost, a hallucination, a dream or a […]
