I was presented with a prestigious Excellence in Media Award at the fourth annual Los Angeles Nollywood Film Association (LANFA) on Saturday August 6th at the James Bridges Theater at UCLA. This event recognized renowned international talents in the film, music and media industries within the African communities globally, so it was truly an honor to receive this wonderful award. Action on Film Festival Wrap Up

Several of my films are making their world premiere at the popular Action on Film (AOF) Festival, which is going on until September 27th in scenic Monrovia at the Krikorian Theatres. These films are Strangers In A Book, Seeking Valentina, and Natural Born Filmmakers. This festival was created by Del Weston, who is also a filmmaker, so he really supports indie filmmakers in our community. And I really feel the sense of community at this festival. Presenter at Los Angeles Nollywood Film Awards

On Saturday, August 15, the third annual Los Angeles Nollywood Film Awards (LANFA) took place at the LAX 4 Points Sheraton Hotel. The purpose of this yearly awards ceremony is to recognize the leading worldwide contributors to the African film industry that are working towards growing and developing that industry.
