Gilt City Warehouse Sale

I checked out the Gilt City Wearhouse Sale press preview benefitting the Rett Syndrome Research Trust at Siren Studios on Orange in Hollywood. I swooned over the high end designers like Oscar de la Renta, Guiseppe Zanotti, Manolo Blahnik, but I was all about the bargains! I spied some great stuff there. Couture hounds beware! There were great sparkly Judith Leiber clutches and all sort of bags, boots and high end shoes. They even had a kids section and a menswear section. Complimentary drinks were served by Pure Leaf Tea House Collection, Aloe Gloe, as well as Barefoot Bubbly and […]

Had a great time at this year’s third annual Halloween Hotness at the Reserve in downtown LA. So nice to catch up with friends and check out the cool costumes all for a truly great cause. This charitable endeavor was created by Brian Sikoff to raise awareness about cancer. Proceeds from this event will go directly to the American Cancer Society. This event was conceived in honor of Brian’s fallen family members, Carmen and Lynn Kuchera, who passed away far too soon from this terrible disease. “A big thank you to everyone who supported us the last two years. We look forward to seeing all of […]

Lifecell Launch at the London Hotel

I had a blast at the launch of amazing skincare line, Lifecell’s launch of their new retail collection. This event was held at the luxurious Vivienne Westwood penthouse suite of the super swanky London Hotel. First of all, I LOVE Lifecell’s products, especially the All-in-one anti-aging cooling under eye treatment. Even this insomniac blogger swears by it. I apply it every night and wake up looking rested and restored. Being that I have rosacea and the most sensitive skin in the world (!), no joke, Lifecell is one of the few products I can use without having a bad reaction […]

LA Fashion Week’s Opening Night Gala

I had the pleasure of attending the LA Fashion Week opening night event thanks to the lovely Laura Sharpe, Founder and CEO of Artists for Trauma (AFT). This event was held at the historic Hollywood Athletic Club right on Sunset Boulevard. I’ve been collaborating with Laura on projects, so it was nice to have a night out and take a break or in my case, eat too many tasty treats from Sugah Rush Bar and drink too many sugary drinks. Bad Vida! I will say that I really enjoyed the Bai drinks especially the Bolivian black cherry flavor and the […]

The World Premiere of the Tragedy of JFK (As Told by Wm. Shakespeare)

The Tragedy of JFK (as told by Wm. Shakespeare) is a very moving play about the conspiracy to assassinate the 35th President of the United States and its aftermath. Using Shakespearian text, this groundbreaking theatrical event illuminates what might have happened surrounding one of the most shocking events in American history, which altered the course of this entire nation for decades to come. This play also showcases the tragedies the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy. I was really affected by this show as reliving a very challenging part of American history was really heavy and […]
