Had a great time at the Celebrity Connected 2017 Luxury Gifting Suite Honoring The Academy Awards® at the Millennium Biltmore downtown. Ever the foodie, I was excited to try all the treats such as Nu-Health Fruit, Gourmet Inspirations Salted Carmel Whiskey spread, Twizzles Tasty Treats (my favorite flavor thus far is peanut butter), Route 66’s Root Beer, Gorp Clean Energy Bars, Ricos Nachos on the Go, Something Sweet’s by Maddie Lu’s chocolate chip sweet edible cookie dough, Vegan Noms (my favorite was the brownie variety), Ohana’s Cupcakes (especially the lemon flavor), Sorelle and Co’s sweets, Kung Fu Tea (the Mango flavor), Hemp […]

Had an amazing time at the Taste & Roses Pre-Valentine’s Day celebration at the super adorably designed Carrera Cafe yesterday with the lovely blogger babes. Not only is it a beautiful cafe that is totes instagram worthy, but also the appetizers and drinks there are great. I love their line of creative, healthy and refreshing rose water drinks called H2rOse. This wonderful drink is an all natural beverage uniquely made of rose water, saffron and other natural and organic ingredients. Rose water was initially created exclusively for royalty. As time passed, rose water became a healthy beverage used by an […]

Golden Globes Gleaming

I know yellow is the trend this season, but I was blown away by these looks:   Stone ( or her stylist!) always makes great choices. I loved her beaded top and pants with a sash at the last Golden Globes. I’ve worn gowns that have various lengths and it’s really hard to pull off. Monae does this effortlessly! I normally think polka dots, tulle and sequins (!) are too busy, but she really slays in this gown! I normally wouldn’t go for a statement so bold, but Wood looks stunning and I’m a big Dietrich and Bowie fan, so […]

Covergirl Outlast Works All-Day Everyday

I had the opportunity to try some wonderful new Covergirl Outlast All-Day products thanks to the fine folks at Influenster. Their soft touch concealer, matte finishing powder and lipgloss duo were a part of my gifted voxbox.   Though the powder and concealer were a bit too dark for my complexion, they were good blenders for when I want to do a light contour, but not too extreme that it looks obvious. My favorite was the lipgloss duo. I love the nude intensity base for daytime use and then the clear gloss to bump it up for the evening. Great […]

Feeling Golden with Minerva Gold Collagen

I happened upon Minerva’s Gold Collagen when visiting my local beauty supply store aka my hangout as I’m there so often purchasing products I don’t need more often than not. Such was not the case with Gold Collagen. I drank a bottle a day for about two weeks and the results were incredible. My nails were much stronger, my skin more radiant and my hair was so shiny! And it tastes like a bellini! This innovative product was designed for women wishing to promote beautiful skin and fight the visible signs of aging. Containing a unique blend of collagen and […]

On display and for sale were some of Mario AC Della […]

Sue Wong’s Epic Fashion Show at the Avant Garde Masquerade Ball

I had a blast at internationally renowned designer Sue Wong’s EPIC fashion show at the Avant Garde Masquerade Ball. This phenomenal event was held at the Majestic downtown, which was an apropos location as it dates back to 1921 as the original LA headquarters of Bank of America, which is an era that Sue’s designs often harken to!  Many of the vintage design features of this location are similar to The Cedars, Sue historic estate. This enchanted evening was the second annual Masquerade Ball for Michelle Long’s Avant Garde Magazine. Her runway included celebrity guest models Eugenia Kuzmina and Ava […]
