Great Day at Santa Anita Park!

Had a nice time at Santa Anita Park especially at their swanky Chandelier Room and hip speakeasy. Santa Anita is one of the nicest tracks in the country imho and the Chandelier Room did not disappoint! There was a great buffet and a really amazing tequila tasting with brands such as Patrón and Herradura Ultra. I even bet on a few horses! Steeped in tradition with a glamorous, modern appeal, the Chandelier Room has brought together royalty, Hollywood’s elite and the stars of Thoroughbred racing for decades.  A recently completed multi-million dollar renovation updated this exquisite room, restoring it to its […]

Since I’m all about eco fashion, I was excited to attend Global Fashion Exchange and Bead & Reel’s GFX Hollywood Inaugural swap for a boutique swap experience in the heart of Los Angeles at the brand new FF-1051 Gallery. Attendees brought their best clean, gently-used clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, and accessories that they would love to give to a friend, and exchange them for fresh, beautiful styles for themselves! I had a blast at the event and […]

The Jade Pendant Premiere

Had an amazing time at The Jade Pendant premiere. I went to support my dear friend, international fashion designer and now actress, Sue Wong, in her acting debut at Po Ping. She did a wonderful job as the snooty mother trying to set her wayward son up with the lead in the film Peony (Clara Lee). What a really liked about Sue’s scenes were that it is very similar to the Persian arranged marriage setup, so I really got the gist of how similar our ancient cultures really are. This period piece took place in a during the lynching of […]
