Well Heeled at the Heels Premiere

Really enjoyed the movie Heels with my good friend fashion designer Sai Suman and had a nice time at the premiere and after party. The only thing missing was one of the stars of the film, my “Live with Ford and Vida” colleague Ford Austin, who was missing as he had come down with a bad cold that he couldn’t shake. The film’s LA premiere was at the Laemmle Noho 7 as part of the popular Noho Cine Fest. Heels is the story of two adopted brothers, Ronnie (Britt George) and Jodi Lackey (Ryan Bottiglieri), who also wrote, directed and […]

Ladies Kicking Butt at the Lady Filmmakers Film Festival

Had an amazing time at the first night of the Lady Filmmakers Film Festival at the Wilshire Screening Room, where the film that I acted in and co-produced is an official selection of the festival. I was honored to have my film screen in the “ladies kick butt” block of films. Kudos to Patricia DiSalvo Viayra, the CEO and Co-Founder of the festival and her husband Mike Viayra, her Co-Founder and Festival Director. Lady Filmmakers Festival is under the umbrella of the newly formed Lady Filmmakers Foundation, a 501c3 tax exempt charity. Lady Filmmakers Festival is in its 8th year and […]

Natural Born Filmmakers World Premiere at Action on Film Festival

A film I had a fun supporting role in, “Natural Born Filmmakers” had its World Premiere at the prestigious Action on Film International Film Festival on September 19, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Krikorian Theatre in scenic Monrovia. “Natural Born Filmmakers”, written and directed by Steve Oakley, has been nominated for Best Comedy-Feature at this wonderful film festival that was created by Del Weston, who is a noted filmmaker himself. Described as both a cautionary tale, an ode to the travails of filmmaking as well as a spoof, “Natural Born Filmmakers“ puts a searing magnifying glass on the workings of […]

Lovesick Fool Screens at the Hollyshorts Film Fest

I was so thrilled to have Lovesick Fool screen as a part of the Hollyshorts Film Festival at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood! What a pinch me I’m dreaming moment! This film was my voiceover animation feature film debut and  stars a talented ensemble of comedic geniuses like Lisa Kudrow, Janeane Garofalo, and Fred Willard. Dominic Polcino, an Emmy-nominated director of “The Simpsons”, “King of the Hill”, and “Family Guy”, directed, wrote, and voiced the lead role. The film is Polcino’s Mezmo Productions’ first feature. It’s an original adult animated vision, expanding on Polcino’s award-winning short film “Lovesick Fool”, about a […]
