SAG/AFTRA Actress, Radio Personality and Honoree Amber Lynn Sparkles at the Los Angeles Nollywood Awards

Stunning and svelte SAG/AFTRA Actress, Radio Personality and Humanitarian Achievement Honoree Amber Lynn sparkles at the Los Angeles Nollywood Awards. Amber evoked Hollywood glamour with Veronica Lake-esque curls in a sparkling Mac Duggal gown with Azzedine Alaia heels.   Interestingly enough, this being an international festival, Amber obliged, even in her couture apparel as Mac Duggal is a designer of Indian heritage and Alaia is of Tunisian descent. So her fashion was South Asian and North African inspired! The perfect fit for the Nollywood awards! Amber Lynn ( registered trademark) is an iconic California born-and-bred, rockin’ wild child – blonde, […]

Well Heeled at the Heels Premiere

Really enjoyed the movie Heels with my good friend fashion designer Sai Suman and had a nice time at the premiere and after party. The only thing missing was one of the stars of the film, my “Live with Ford and Vida” colleague Ford Austin, who was missing as he had come down with a bad cold that he couldn’t shake. The film’s LA premiere was at the Laemmle Noho 7 as part of the popular Noho Cine Fest. Heels is the story of two adopted brothers, Ronnie (Britt George) and Jodi Lackey (Ryan Bottiglieri), who also wrote, directed and […]

Kudos to Patricia DiSalvo Viayra, the CEO and Co-Founder of the festival and her husband Mike Viayra, her Co-Founder and Festival Director. Lady Filmmakers Festival is under the umbrella of the newly formed Lady Filmmakers Foundation, a 501c3 tax exempt charity. Lady Filmmakers Festival is in its 8th year and […]
