Impromptu Promo Photoshoot for Live With Ford and Vida!

I recently attended the Taurus birthday party of celebrity photographers Uncle Bob and Jenna Urban as well as Angela Downey of Downey’s Desserts at the W Hotel Hollywood. I usually run on “Persian time,” but got there early, so I took advantage of the extra time and had an impromptu promo photo shoot for a new show I am co-hosting with my friend actor Ford Austin, called “Facebook Live with Ford and Vida.” Luckily Ford is on point and always arrives to his destinations early (as opposed to yours truly), so we had a lot of time to spare. Internationally renowned fashion designer Sue Wong hosted a star-studded Birthday celebration and fashion installation extravaganza announcing D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries LLC as the new Licensee of the SUE WONG Evening Collection. The exclusive celebration, themed “From MAO TO NOW”, honored the designer’s origins from a remote humble village in Maoist China, journeying to America as a young child and transforming herself into the Empress of Fashion. Sue’s story is so inspiring and I so admire her for all her achievements.  Being the quintessential Phoenix, she now finds herself poised on a threshold she calls her Third Phoenix Rising. Stars and Sparkles at the Quynh Paris Fashion Show

Noted international fashion designer Quynh Paris unveiled her Fall/Winter 2016-2017 show, aptly titled “The Light of the Stars” as a part of Style Fashion Week at the Pacific Design Center (PDC).  Quynh is a noted international designer in the true sense of the word and I love how she has a great fusion of East meets West. I also loved how the setting of PDC, or “Blue Whale” as it’s referred to, fit the occasion perfectly. The runway for the PDC shows was surrounded by water, which fit in with Quynh’s theme of the galaxy and there was no tent […]
