Had a nice time at Santa Anita Park especially at their swanky Chandelier Room and hip speakeasy. Santa Anita is one of the nicest tracks in the country imho and the Chandelier Room did not disappoint! There was a great buffet and a really amazing tequila tasting with brands such as Patrón and Herradura Ultra. I even bet on a few horses!
Steeped in tradition with a glamorous, modern appeal, the Chandelier Room has brought together royalty, Hollywood’s elite and the stars of Thoroughbred racing for decades. A recently completed multi-million dollar renovation updated this exquisite room, restoring it to its glory years while modernizing its amenities. An expansive balcony, accessible by two elegant spiral staircases that wind around the room’s original 1930’s chandeliers, creates a grand venue of timeless tradition. Large HDTVs ensure guests won’t miss a moment of exciting Thoroughbred racing as they mix and mingle among friends.
Accommodating up to 500 guests for receptions and 175 for seated dinners, the opulent Chandelier Room boasts an exceptional year-round setting for private business events and social gatherings with a luxurious private entrance and it’s own elevator. A Star is Born was filmed there as well as a scene from the popular ABC show “Brothers and Sisters”! So very cool!
