Paper Dolls, an elegant new co-working collective designed for professional women, held their open house on May 14th at their beautiful Brentwood studio featuring complimentary Glamsquad makeovers and professional headshots for members and invited guests. Attendees enjoyed “staying fit at the office” tips from Orange Theory Fitness and toured the adjacent Paleoista studio. Tasty eats were provided by local area restaurants including the new Brentwood hotspot Balltaire.
“This event really validates for us that there are so many amazing female business founders that need a sense of community as well as a community that supports them and I’m glad we could foster that,” said Jen Mojo, the founder of Paper Dolls.
I was exhausted and backlogged with accumulating posts for my new blog and was on the fence about attending, but this roving reporter couldn’t say no! The mauve and lavender polka-dotted paperless post invite beckoned me to go and I’m so glad I did. It was nice to get glammed up and photographed in the company of such accomplished women in such a stunning place. Love, love, love Paper Dolls. Even on a rainy and thunderous night, I felt bright and sparkly in their cozy and well decorated studios.
